Juno Winner (Canada’s version of a Grammy) Shad has dropped a new mix tape. If you don’t know, now ya know! Check out his site Here! With mixes of 80’s and 90’s from songs such as the breeders “Cannon Ball”, and artists Milli Vanilli, Lenny Kravitz, Prince, and PM Dawn.
As a bonus, he’s also released an outtake track called “buffer slow”
with a mix from neneh cherry’s buffalo stance. Enjoy!

Joham Lam – I am Other

Posted in fashion with tags , , , , on August 16, 2012 by alteredlines

I just watched a really well done video on Johan Lam, co-owner of 3Sixteen and Self-Edge. For those of you who don’t know, 3Sixteen is a menswear line that I’m totally in love with. The quality of their clothing is simply amazing. I’ve been following the brand since they started out doing graphic t-shirts. I’ve always been inspired by the way they
handle themselves as a business.
Back in the day, I asked Andrew Chen (of 3Sixteen/Self Edge)
to critique my designs. Always grateful, I’ve grown alot as a designer
from his honest appraisal of my work. 3sixteen and Andrew have
been a huge influence on me. To 3Sixteen, Thanks guys!
To the rest of you, Go support!
They make the best clothes that I’ve ever worn!

Mr. J – The Rockies

So I’m sure that you all know that Mr. J is one of my favorites,
not only is he a great artist, but his visual branding is amazing!
I love text for the new single!
Simple, clean and the backdrop works really well with it.
The Graphic Design was done by Luke Atencio. He’s really talented!
As always, go support Mr. J! If you’re touched by his art, buy some albums! Share on facebook, twitter or whatever other media.
Spread the word! Anyway, Enjoy the video!

Dig Deeper Ya’ll!

Lindsey Stirling – Phantom of the Opera

Lindsey is at it again with another amazing video! It’s no wonder she’s my daughter’s favorite artist (Sorry Mr. J. Medeiros, Lindsey bumped you off the top!) I’d also highly recommend you check out Devin Graham. He’s the one that films all of Lindsey’s videos.
He’s super talented and his videos are Awesome!
(is that a double negative?) Well it was positive, so double positives can’t hurt, right? Anyway, I have some of Devin’s work in my collection of Inspiration links. Be sure to check out his YouTube channel:
